Charges: Hit and Run - Unattended Vehicle

Outcome: Charges dismissed.

Description: Client hit several cars and a fence on the way home.  Client went inside his/her home and would not answer the door when the police came.  This is perfectly legal as the police did not have a warrant and there is no obligation to answer your door.  However, client later provided information to insurance company about this that allowed criminal charges to be filed.  Charges were dismissed upon payment of damages, fine, community service and staying out of trouble for one year.
